Today the skies are gray and heavy,
drowning us in it's dreadful tears.
We do,we do feel the ache of it all,
driving through our hearts like a burning spear.
It beats upon our faces and souls,
washing away everyone's sadness and anger.
They want to be set free and flying,
away from this horrifying world.
The truth hangs heavy in the air,
finally their hearts start to hear the true meaning of living the right way.
I see children running and crying,
searching for their beloved one's.
The sounds of war drown the wails of despair,
and finally I feel myself shattering.
Under all these emotions,
their screams echoing in my heart.
But then suddenly I feel it,
the beginning of happiness,a smile.
It pulls hard at my heart,
telling me to continue this journey whole.
And then,I see light,streaming amongst everyone
in a beautiful shine.
Finally,I feel the wonderful new beginning.
